The life...

Life becomes so busy sometimes that we barely have time to think. We go through a day of work, school, hustle and bustle barely finding time for ourselves. We say we will get some time in before bed but by the time we get to bed we are already asleep. Sigh! Life becomes so fast paced and exhausting we forget that we need to rest. Rest is very important for not only our physical body but our mental, emotional and spiritual. God rested when He created the earth  so why do we believe that rest is for the dead.

Yesterday after a long day I sat in the silence and took a few deep breaths. How refreshing! I can still feel the wind on my face as the Lord seem to be saying enter my rest my child. So that's what I did. In the silence, just for a few minutes I relaxed. It is there the Lord spoke to me. It was there that the Lord gave me directions. It was there that He reminded me of His unconditional love for me.

So try it! Take a few moments. Separate yourself from everything and everyone. Go outside and bask in the glory of your Heavenly Father's creation and just breathe! :) Have a great day Friends!

Just a thought...

So I have learnt over the last couple of months that people can do some crazy and silly things for love and acceptance. Not just the love and acceptance of a significant other but the love and acceptance of their peers, family, even people we don't know. Whats also interesting is we do even crazier things when that love is reciprocated. We lash out, we pout, we speak negatively of others. All because we didn't feel loved or acceptance from others.

But I smile even as I'm writing this because I have come to know the God who is Friend, Father and Lover of my Soul. The one who's love me is unshakable, unchangeable and best of all unconditional. He is the God who I can lean on, He is the God I can cry to, the one I can run to. It is truly a privileged to have relationship with one who will never leave me, never abandon me, never 'break dates'. He is the God who is ever present. In His presence I am a princess and I feel like royalty. I thank God for the privileged to know Him. I thank God for teaching me how to love. I thank God for showing me how I should be treated by those who claim to love me. My prayer is that you to can experience such love. It is life transforming. :)

God Bless You all!
